FC EARTH | Soccer Lifestyle Apparel

Brief:  FC Earth is a startup business founded with the goal of uniting the global reach of soccer/futbol enthusiasts at every economic level.  Through social and environmentally responsible programs and the creation of a soccer-based social network, FC Earth aims to create  soccer gear that celebrates the sport while supporting the planet. It is a continuing side venture that has been extraordinarily educational as well as fun to work on. 

As a starting apparel marketing action, I designed a t-shirt concept based on “team membership”.  By becoming one of the 999 first team members of FC Earth, you receive a completely unique “uniform”  listing your member number. 

Role:  As Co-Founder and Creative Director, my responsibilities involve all aspects of business development including company identity design/branding, interactive web and event marketing programs, and product design/development. 

Challenges:   Bootstrapping required us to research numerous alternative business strategies to find both  cost effective and socially responsible solutions. Working with apparel producers has presented it’s own set up challenges, through communication of design details to finding the right material origination to ensure quality and sustainability.
