Sonic Dumpsters | RISD | Sound Studio Fall 2010

Concept:  A collaborative sound sculpture project with RISD Architecture graduate student Van Chu. Amplifying Dumpsters transforms the interstitial space of a small alley and between two dumpsters.

Piano wire was strung through various fixed and movable components of the dumpsters, the natural acoustic amplification of the dumpster was heightened with contact mics and speakers.
